Jasper Lions Club is continuing the box parade tradition! Local children build creative, cardboard floats to form a parade. Don’t miss the event that has been part of our heritage for generations. Registration starts at 4:15 in German American Bank's parking lot between 6th and 7th streets and the parade starts at 5:10! Free event.

The live action Glockenspiel performance starts with a child ringing the bell to mark the hour. Children perform on the balcony as “Strassenfest Favorite Things” plays. Free event with Thursday performances at 7, 8, & 9PM.

Mentors for Youth presents Dad’s Root Beer Mug Holding Contest for Kids. Children hold a weighted Dad’s Root Beer mug straight in front of them without movement. Part of the Tänzer Präsentieren (Dancers Showcase) Dance Central Academy of the Performing Arts offers Dance, Music and Acting Classes for Ages 3 and up. Each participant stands straight up and holds a stein full of water at shoulder height with arm fully extended and arm parallel with the ground. Last person standing wins! Up to 16 participants per male and female divisions. Free event in the Bier Garten (21+). Buttons required for entry.
